About the Training

Topic

Pregnancy and infant loss can touch any family—and anyone in their support network may be called to respond. This training builds a trauma- and grief-informed foundation for supportive language, skilled communication, and meeting families’ needs during loss. Audience: Designed for healthcare providers, community professionals, and ANYONE who serves as a touchpoint in the perinatal period.

Continuing Education Units

Upon completing the training, participants are eligible to receive a certificate for 6 CE units.

About the Eastern Oregon Perinatal Loss Collaborative

The Eastern Oregon Perinatal Loss Collaborative brings together hospitals, tribal health, public health, mental health providers, doulas, community organizations, and parent advocates to support families after pregnancy and infant loss. The collaborative works to build shared understanding, strengthen care pathways, and ensure families receive compassionate, culturally grounded support throughout their grief journey and in future pregnancies.
